Paul Hutton is one of the world’s leading journalists specialising in transport technology. A trained broadcast journalist who worked as a presenter, newsreader and sports reporter on local and national radio and TV, Paul has been in the ITS sector for nearly 25 years having run the operations of two radio traffic news companies. Paul worked on the Travel Information Highway and delivered the Traffic Radio service for government as well as providing traffic reports for the vast majority of BBC and commercial radio stations across the UK and also working in Canada, Australia and the US. He co-owns the website Highways-News.com, provides PR and communications support for the UK Transport Technology Forum and a number of SMEs and regularly hosts webinars and moderates panel debates at events.
Dr Mihaita is a multi-award-winning Senior Lecturer at the University of Technology in Sydney, founder and leader of the Future Mobility Lab. She is an industry-focused academic delivering value for people living in smart cities via her strong engagement with the government and several industry partners. Her research focus is to improve people's movement via artificial intelligence in a smart city context.
Dr Mihaita is also on the ITS Australia Board of Directors.
Harry Kraus is a Product Manager and Engineer at BRAUMS, where he oversees a range of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) products, including traffic signals, streetlighting, and field cabinet solutions. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, Harry joined BRAUMS in 2020 and works with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and reliable transport infrastructure solutions.
Harry is also the NSW Co-Chair of the ITS Australia NextGens Committee, a national network that connects and supports young and early-career professionals in the ITS industry, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across the transport technology sector.
Tom is a data science and machine learning specialist at Main Roads Western Australia with over 10 years of experience in government and transport.
His current focus is on data capability uplift within the ITS Operations team to enable the adoption of C-ITS, development of machine vision, and implementation of other use cases critical to the future of network operations in WA.

Tim is an ITS Domain Specialist at Transurban and part of the Roadside Architecture & Engineering team. His work focuses on innovation projects and strategy for roadside technology, particularly in the surveillance and detection space. This spans everything from AI-powered cameras to sensors embedded in-road - any solution that enables real-time monitoring to keep roads safe and flowing smoothly.
Tim studied Mechatronic Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Sydney and is a current member of the ITS NextGens committee.
